Overall
I enjoyed it. It was all a Xennial would want as far as characters, plot, and whimsy. While the humor was a bit forced and caused some whiplash with the suspension of disbelief, it was toned enough to ease back into the story.
Graphics being what they are in 2026, we weren’t hamstrung into a film wholly on Earth and without cinema magic. I enjoyed it.

The song “Eternia” is pretty badass, not gonna lie. Brian May locks it down with the riffs, but the soaring melody drives forward with power all its own. Daniel Pemberton made a banger, no doubt about it. The vocals cause the stirring, the drive beat of rock balanced with the jaunty synth keys, and the chord progression unlocks some childhood bliss. It doesn’t lose itself in overly engrandized Marvel-style opulence, and I appreciate that. Sprinkle in Queen with “Princes of the Universe,” and you have a properly fashioned score, fit for Grayskull.
